Hand Print Turkey Poem

There are countless ways to create turkeys for Thanksgiving art projects. Arguably, the most popular, and the easiest, is the tried and true handprint version. In our class we usually do two different styles. We trace our hands with crayons and color in the outline or we paint our hands using brown for the body and assorted colors for the feathers.

We usually do the painted version as a send home greeting card. Depending on the size of your class and how much time you have, hand printing the poem can become tedious. So I created a quick way to make several copies at once. It has a white background, but it can obviously be printed on any color paper or cardstock you prefer. Hope it's helpful!
